Bridal Barn, Claverley
Nestled against its own private woodland, in over 100 acres of Shropshire’s finest hills, Bridal Barn provides a unique setting for your special day. The lovingly restored sandstone barn dates back to the 16th century. With vaulted, oak beamed ceilings and flagstone floors, you have an outstanding space assured to impress.

Milly & Ryan's big day!
As Ryan waited for his bride Milly, guests chatted and mingled and took their seats in the beautiful ceremony barn.

Ryan & guests waiting for Milly's arrival

Campervan fun...
Out in the spacious carpark Milly's campervan arrives with the whole Bridal party...

Milly's Mum & Dad and her bridesmaids arrive at the Bridal Barn
Walking to the ceremony barn...
Led by 'Ring Security' Milly's bridal party make their way to the ceremony room.

Tears...
As Milly arrives at the ceremony barn Ryan is moved to tears at the sight of his beautiful bride.

Time for a wedding...
Milly and Ryan exchanged their vows infront of family and friends.

The new Mr & Mrs Shore...
Taking their first steps as man and wife.

Family & friends clapping for the happy couple.

Mr & Mrs Shore...

Mingling...
As their guests started to pour out of the ceremony barn, Milly & Ryan greeted their guests in the outside courtyard.

Candid images...
As guests mingled I captured candid images of the couple's interactions with their guests.
Group photographs...
As Milly & Ryan had hired a vintage bus for their guests to arrive in we decided to use the bus and campervan in the main group photograph.

Group images...
This part of a couples day can be very time consuming and stops couples getting to mix and chat to their guests. I will take as many group shots as my couples want however I do usually recommend a list of no more than 10 group shots (we can always get more later in the day - I never say no to a photo!) I I put more empasis on candid, natural images.

Confetti shot...
Using the barn as a backdrop we set up for the confetti shot.

Decor...
When a bride and groom have spent so much time on choosing their wedding venue decor it's important for me to capture as many details as I can... The barn looked beautiful.

Welcoming the new Mr & Mrs into their wedding breakfast...

Afternoon Tea...
Milly & Ryan had chosen to have a Afternoon tea styled wedding breakfast which went really well with the rustic decor and the barn overall.

Time for more candid shots...
Time for the speeches...
The barn was perfect for the speeches, the lay out of the barn had everyone in close proximety - a really cosy space.

The lay out of the barn let me move around and take some really lovely shots of the speeches.
Beautiful Barn...
The light flooded into the barn from the large windows, lighting the really characterful building.

I really love my candid images of the speeches... the barn just sets off the space beautifully and suits my edit.
Newly-wed images...
As the guests relaxed and chatted after the speeches, I took the bride and groom off to take their Newly-wed images (couple images)

Acres of open space...
Bridal Barn really has acres of space and looking at the sun I decided to take Milly and Ryan 'up the hill' to the outdoor ceremony space - the trees made for the perfect backdrop to the photo's.

Wonky lens...
Using my 'wonky lens' (to give the look of free-lensing) I took some really natural images of the couple with some posed portraits too.

Afternoon light...
The afternoon light was perfect!

Romantic images...
The sun steamed through the tree's throughout our newly-wed image session. I never take a couple away from their guests for too long... just long enough to get some beautiful romantic images.

Summer sunset...
The Bridal Barn can boast a perfect Summer sunset...

Back to the party!
Taking 5 for a quick drink, Milly and Ryan got back to their guests.

The Courtyard...
Back to the courtyard where all the guests were mingling, chilling out, having a great time...

Time for dancing!
With a live band (Lazy Marmalade) playing their song, Milly & Ryan took to the dancefloor in the tipi. Lit with fairy lights and flower garlands and paper lanterns the space really looked beautiful.

Guests took to the floor to dance with the couple.
One last shot...
Taking the Bride and Groom away for just 5 minutes I took the last shot of the night outside the barn... makes for a lovely last image.

Time for a cup of tea!
After a long day I took my leave, Milly & Ryan and their guests, partying the night away at Bridal Barn.
Thank you to Bridal Barn & to Milly & Ryan for booking me and being such a lovely couple to work for.
