The most beautiful Island for a most beautiful wedding
When Sally & Paul first enquired about my photography services I had already captured the wedding of Sally's daughter. Sally & Paul had had me in mind when they had started to plan their perfect wedding on Herm Island (part of the Channel Islands)
Excited is an understatement ~ Herm Island had been the playground for Sally & her family for many a holiday. Sally had decribed it as a little piece of heaven and she was not wrong.....

Day 1 ~ Sunset BBQ on the beach
The evening before their wedding, Sally & Paul had organised a Beach BBQ. As not only were they getting married but Paul was also celebrating his Birthday! So a sunset BBQ on the beach with all their family & friends who had travelled with them to celebrate...

Sally had arranged a Birthday cake for Paul too....

A lovely evening....
A truley lovely evening. The kids paddled (plus us big kids) as we all watched the Sun set with great food & a little drink... not too much as the next day was the wedding!

A very beautiful evening....

Wedding Day

With Paul getting ready at The White House Hotel, Sally got ready in the cottage with Best friend, SJ... I joined them to get a few wedding prep shots...

Sally & Paul were to be married at Saint Tugual's Chapel, which happens to be at the top of the hill! A short trip on a White House Golf buggy was a must!

Goin to the chapel...
St Tugual's Chapel dates from the 11th century & its said the current chapel was built by Norman Monks. It is a very small & beautiful chapel

As Paul's grandson rang the Church bell to announce the wedding, Sally's brother was to give Sally away & SJ was on hand as her Maid of Honour ~ a couple of pics and Sally was ready, to marry Paul at last....
