Natural images, natural light...
A shoot can take an hour or it can take two - as long as you and baby are happy, I am too - I capture natural images using natural light. Real photographs for people who want to freeze a moment in time.
Details...
I like to take a mixture of colour and black and white photographs. Black and white images are great for capturing fine details such as hands or tiny feet.
When to schedule a session...
Newborns are usually photographed within the first 5 to 14 days of life. During this time, they are more likely to sleep deeply and curl up naturally, making it easier to pose them in adorable ways.
Free lensing...
I use my individual style - a mix of traditional romantic portraiture & my etherial style or 'free lensing' technique to give the slice of sharp focus to make a feature of finer details & create mood.
Relaxed session...
I am in your home for an hour or so - we chat & allow baby to relax - feed or change when you need to, totally relaxed as your are at home!
Just make me a cup of tea and I'm happy to wait until baby is ready.
Turn the session into a Family Shoot...
If you'd like some images with the rest of the family, by all means... let's capture some memories!
These images capture the bond between family members and are often cherished as precious keepsakes.
Older babies too...
If your baby is a little older... we can capture a bit of that early personality!
Parents...
Parents are encouraged to participate in toddler photo shoots to create meaningful family moments. Involvement can range from holding the child, playing with them, or simply being present in the background to elicit natural interactions and reactions.
Toddlers can be unpredictable, so patience and flexibility are key during these sessions. I understand that toddlers may have mood swings, moments of shyness, or bursts of energy, and I adapt my approach accordingly to capture the best possible shots.
Family time...
My aim is to be unobtrusive so I can capture as natural an image as possible for my clients.
What is included...
A session is priced at £200 - included with this is 10 digital full size jpeg images on a wooden usb presented to you in a wooden box tied with ribbon.
To select your 10 digital images from your session you receive a link to a private online gallery - partly edited images will be available to view with the option to purchase additional full size image files at £15 each.
Once you have chosen your images...
I then complete my edit of the images you've selected - I update your private gallery with the final images to allow you to view online & share with friends and family if you wish to do so.
Finally the full size jpeg files (10 included in package price) are added to your usb drive and delivered to you in a wooden presentation box tied with ribbon.
