While some brides still wear veils for religious or cultural reasons, many others wear them because they like the look. Modern veil traditions purely reflect personal style. The wedding veil is all about making a statement.
On your wedding morning
On your wedding morning I arrive to capture two hours of the build up to your ceremony and I capture all those moments and details which you don't want to miss. Details you want to remember forever, your engagement ring and jewellery, your perfume, your something borrowed, something blue and another tradition, your veil....
You can trace the veil's roots back to Rome, where a bride used to walk down the aisle with a veil over her face in order to disguise herself from any evil spirits who wanted to stand in the way of her happiness.

Whilst all around you is maybe a little hectic - once you have your shoes on and your veil secured in place -its time to absorb it all in - you are off to get married.....

Even if you choose not to wear a veil down the aisle during your ceremony, you always have the option of a veil in the ‘getting ready’ room to capture romantic bridal portraits that you will cherish forever.

Longer veils make for a dramatic entrance and give an overall stunning elegant look, while shorter veils are fresh and fun.

Some girls do, some don't.....

On Emily & Kerry's wedding day, Emily opted to wear a veil & Kerry didn't - both wedding dresses were stunning and suited each of them perfectly...
