Shustoke Barn is an 18th century red-brick barn set around a private courtyard - it really is one of the best Warwickshire wedding venues.
I'm happy to say I have photographed a few weddings at Shustoke Barn over my ten years in wedding photography. In this blog I have shared some of my favourite images from past weddings. Weddings from different times of the year, proving Shustoke Barn is perfect for weddings all year round!

Arrival...
Laura arrived at Shustoke Barn in a campervan! It looked fab set in the December Winter sunshine infront of those glorious red bricks of the barn.

Waiting patiently...
Inside, Chris waits patiently for his bride's arrival.
The barn looking absoluetly stunning! The low winter sunlight streaming in through the windows and feature wall.

Laura ready to say 'I do!'

Led down the aisle by her father, Laura is a picture of happiness

Happy tears...
Tears of happiness from Chris...

Emily & Kerry's wedding ceremony...

Waiting patiently...
Kerry waits patiently with her father for the arrival of her bride, Emily

Kerry is led down the aisle by her father, friends and family look on adoringly.

Tears of joy!
Kerry dabbing a tear from her eye...

Two stunning brides!
Nervous laughter from Kerry as her bride Emily makes an appearance... Two stunning brides.

The look of love...
Quite literally the look of love between these two.

Stunning ceremony barn...
The oak beams against the red brick makes for one gorgeous ceremony room. Twinkling lights adorn the ceiling with a candle lit chandelier as a focal point to the gorgeous room.

Laura & Chris say 'I do'

That first kiss...
Laura & Chris have their first kiss as man and wife as cheers breakout from the guests.

Kerry & Emily's wedding ceremony...
As friends and relatives looked on Emily & Kerry said their 'I do's'!

Shustoke Barn looking beautiful as ever - a flower ball chandelier hanging beautifully in the middle of the ceremony room.

Hardly a dry eye in the place!

Emily & Kerry lit perfectly by the light from the window - makes for some stunning shots during the ceremony.

First kiss...
That first kiss for Emily & Kerry.

As Emily & Kerry sign the register guests looked on from their seats.

Lit by the Summer sunlight, the stunning brides sign the register and sneak another kiss...

Winter sunlight...
Laura & Chris sign the register in the low Winter sunlight steaming in through the windows at Shustoke Barn.

The new Mrs & Mrs!
The new Mrs & Mrs are announced to their guests as they walk down the aisle hand in hand.

Time for a drink...
As guests filter out after the brides, I got a couple of pics as they chatted sharing a couple of minutes alone to regroup!

Confetti time!
At Shustoke the barn doors open onto the beautiful courtyard where guests had assembled ready to throw confetti for the newly-weds.

Time for another kiss...
Time for another kiss for Laura & Chris as their guests get ready to cover them with confetti!

Beautiful big real flower petals really did look amazing!

Newly wed's Beth & Danny arrive from their wedding ceremony at a local church...
Beth and Danny chose Shustoke Barn for their wedding reception...

Arriving in a beautiful old car - I got a couple of pics with the Barn in the background.

Time to mingle...
Joining their waiting guests Beth & Danny enjoy drinks and canape's with their guests.
Group photographs...
At Shustoke Barns I like to take the group photographs (starting with the main group photo) in the court yard. For the main group picture I go upstairs and take the photograph out of the window so I am sure to get everyone in!

For smaller groups I like to have the stunning oak beamed windows of the barn in the background.

Beautiful Olive trees...
The Olive trees looking fabulous as ever in Laura & Chris's group photograph.

I like to get through the group photographs quicky so the Bride and Groom can spend more time celebrating with their guests - having the courtyard keeps guests in one place which makes taking the group photographs a breeze!

Wedding breakfast room...
As the guests mingle I like to take myself into the ceremony barn which is now transformed into the wedding breakfast room... This room makes for really beautiful decor shots.

Beth & Danny viewing their wedding breakfast room ahead of their guests.

Newly-wed images...
Totally dependant on the weather and time of year I like to take my couples away from their guests for no more than 20-30 minutes to capture their newly-wed images. I am spoilt for choice at Shustoke Barn! (whatever the weather!)

Winter sun...
As the light begins to fade on Laura & Chris's December wedding I took them a short distance to the grounds of Shustoke Barn to get some beautiful winter sun lit newly-wed images.

Beth & Danny
On a wet and windy day Beth & Danny took five minutes out from their wedding party to take some newly-wed images. As the rain started to fall we made a hasty retreat back to the Barn.

We made good use of the Shustoke Barn umbrellas!

Welcomed into the wedding breakfast room...

Emily & Kerry are welcomed into their wedding breakfast room by their guests.

Time for the speeches...
Happy tears and laughter for Emily & Kerry during their speeches.

Cut that cake!
In the reception area of Shustoke Barn the cake is set up ready for Emily & Kerry to cut.

I positioned myself on the upstairs balcony overlooking the reception area to take this shot for Beth & Danny.

A few decor shots and candid images of Beth & Danny's guests.
Another shot from the balcony for Laura & Chris's cake cutting - they are illuminated in part by the beautiful Christmas tree!

Early evening...
Time for the guests to drink & mingle ahead of the evening reception.
Time for Laura & Chris's first dance...

This pair know how to dance!

Beth & Danny's first dance...

As Beth looked on, Danny played a set with his band, getting everyone in the mood to dance!
Taking a break...
Taking a break from the dancing, Bethany & Danny joined me outside so I could take their last photograph of the night... Shustoke really is a beautiful venue even in darkness!

Emily & Kerry's first dance...

Emily & Kerry, rocking the night away!
Setting up my off camera flash outside, I asked Emily & Kerry to join me to take their last photograph of the evening...
